They Call It Choco-love!

Mama had a team-bonding exercise with her workmates recently. Once in a while, it's good to be away from the office environment, she said.
Anyway, it's not the team-bonding exercise I want to talk about. It's where they went that I'm envious about.
Katoomba is the main city within the boundaries of the Blue Mountains. It is also where the Chocolate Gallery is located. A picture paints a thousand words so this shall be a pictorial entry.

The door leading to chocolate heaven.

It's educational too. Start off by watching a video on the History of Chocolates.

Aunty J looks like a cat that got cream.. A vast selection of handmade chocolates that makes her happy...

Chocolate bars with cheeky packaging!

Really really spoilt for choice.

A bit of historical stuff here - some old moulds and yesteryear's packaging.

Some memorabilia to take home too.

Hmmm...buy now and hoard for Valentine's Day?

Nicely boxed selection of handmade chocolates.

To die for - Real Hot Chocolate! Can get refill of hot milk. One sip and you're in heaven....yummmm....

You buying that for me, Uncle R? Oooh...I'm still having Truffle fantasy...

Even the banner looks edible.

Aargh...some people say that chocolates are not suitable for cats, that it's poisonous because of a substance called theobromine etc etc... But we're still alive!!!! And loving it. purrr....meow!

Cat,
I just had the most sinful cake. Can you imagine a thin layer of cake topped with pure durian flesh (about 3in high) and the whole thing coated with chocolate? Heaven! It is a speciality of Just Heavenly Cake House.
You must be having a whale of time at the chocolate place!
Salam.

Hi Cat, very nice pics. I love chocolates, but only those with mixed nuts. As well love the Swiss ones.
Here its cheap, so buy to watch TV on weekends.
You know, I wonder why we do not get Australian stuff here?
There is, Fosters lager beer. I don't drink beer.
But everything else from SEA, China, etc. none from Australia.
Would love try your Aussie chocolates too.
G'day, woof woof, Lee.

Uncle Lee,
Let's start a business together. You be the importer, I'll be the exporter. We'll choose the best Aussie stuff for you. As for beer, there are so many Aussie brands around. Do you get Aussie wine too? Aussie fruits, meat and lobster? And I'll stow away in the container too so that we can meet. purrr....meow!

Oooh you decadent Kitties, you! I love the cheeky packaging. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, indeed! What a fun trip that looks! Was the hot chocolate really good? I've never been a fan of hot chocolate growing up. That band that sings "You Sexy Thing"? YES, by gum! But the scalding foamy thick beverage? Sorry, I'll pass. Kitties, come to my house and I will buy you chocolate mice.

O Wise Master,
We've fallen in love with the Blue Mountains. If Mama could find a tree with $100 bills as leaves, we'll move there...hahahaha....purrr....meow!

CO78,
"scalding foamy thick beverage?" You must be talking about Milo. Which, coincidentally is an Aussie invention. Just like Vegemite (yuks!) Oh, at this place, they also have chocolate mice, ladybirds, koalas, iguanas and bears. Even a cock! Oops...the male chicken, not the male thingy...purrr....meow!
