Lazy Boys

Tom: Michael, Mama said maybe we should let the girls take over the blog from now on.
Michael: But why???
Tom: Coz we're so lazy and don't update it.
Michael: But we've been bloghopping a lot, so no time to update. You know...there's so much that a cat can do.
Tom: She said no excuses.
Michael: Then, we'll just update from now on. What do you think?
Tom: Hmm...maybe we can split the responsibility too.
Michael: Good thinking, Watson.
Tom: So, after you, Holmes.
Michael: What? Me first?
Tom: Yes, you first.
Michael: But you're older. You go first.
Tom: I'm also your father so do as I say.
Michael: I'm going to tell Mama.
Tom: Yeah...go ahead. Then she'll definitely give it to the girls.
Michael: Imagine Nikki writing about her mani/pedi and all sorts of girlie stuff.
Tom: So, do we have an agreement?
Michael: OK, next installment is mine. I can write about anything, right?
Tom: Yes, boys stuff.
Michael: Woohoo!

I heard (I didn't say it, dengar orang cakap saja) that cats are the laziest creatures in the Animal Kingdom. Unlike the monyets which are industrious and help keep the planet safe.

Ah boys! Don't want the girls to take over but at the same time too lazy to do the necessary. They must think they own the world...

;-)

p/s
Is your mama better now? Have you boys & girls been taking good care of her?

I can imagine Pix and Shadow writing about "boy stuff" too. Decapitating cockroaches. Eating kibbles that have fallen under the sofa. Puffing up to twice their normal sizes when the Pale Orange Tomcat down the street comes over to eat Halle's food. Playing with foil-covered pingpong balls. Hogging the best boxes.

Cat-from-Sydney said...

Your Monyetness,
Cats are very clever in delegating duties. They get things done without lifting a paw. That shows the superiority of the brain. Monyets? roar! roar! roar!

Aunty Pi,
We rule the world! Not just boys, but cats in general. roar! roar! roar!

ps. Mama's fever like a yo-yo. We think it's the creaking body trying to adjust to the heat after all that coldness Down Under.

CO78,
In this household, it's about hogging the best spot on Mama's bed, who gets to sleep on her chest, playing with Dad's shoes, and who gets the topmost perch on the cat tree. Pix and Shadow are welcome to join our club. roar! roar! roar!

While you are squabbling here I am waiting for the parcel; checked with my post office friend who said this is normal with the Customs doing their job somewhere, Port Klang (by sea),KLIA (by air).Next time send it personally, you lazy ones!

Cat-from-Sydney said...

Dear Pakcik,
We were told by the good guys at Australia Post that it should reach you within a week. Honest! So it must be the Malaysian side of things. We've also tracked the parcel, and record shows it has left Australian shores a long time ago. Oh, Mama's trip was unplanned or else we would have made her carry it in her bags. Sorry.... ampun....

Woohoo... I feel the vibes that you guys are enjoying this. Hope your mama will recover from the yoyo sickness pretty soon. My hugs to her.

Our cats here do notknow enough English. It takes them some time to figure out whether Pakcik is not dealing in pornography!
How come you did not give me the usual roar, roar, roar like you do to others? That is favouritism.

Cheqna said...

hahaha..n here I am.. imagining the two "boys" meowing here, purrring there, in trying to figure out what to write in d next post, rather than giving it to Nikki!

:-)))
