Ginger didn't put up much of a resistance. He willingly allowed himself to be picked up by his mom and put in the carry case.
Pingu, however, took a different tact. He ran and hid under Mama's bed. Didn't want to come out despite coaxing and bribery by Mama and his mom. He was so upset that he even scratched his mom. Ooooo.....that's a no-no... As his parents were still suffering from jet lag, Mama told them to go home and rest. We'll deal with Pingu's return in a day or two, Mama said.
Not long after his parents left, Pingu came out and carried on as if nothing happened. Two days after that, sure that Pingu was relaxed enough, Mama picked up and fondled Pingu and voila! Put him in the carry case and called his parents to come pronto. Lucky they live just five minutes away.
From the way Pingu behaves, I think he wants my Mama to be his Mama and our home as his forever home....hmmm......as if I'm going to allow that. purrrr....meow!

Actually, we don't want Pingu to become his old self. He was grumpy, unfriendly, always hissing at people, and have been known to scratch people he doesn't know. Within a week of living with us, he became friendly to everyone, including strangers he's never met. purrr....meow!
