Pictorial Restaurant Review

A sight that makes a cat's heart goes "Yippee!!!!!" - this is the entrance of the restaurant where rows of fresh seafood await.
Drool...drool....these are called groupers - pink, spotted, stripy, brown....all yummy fish...
Such handsome lobsters. Very very delicious too.....
Yes....my fellow countrymen, I'll eat you anytime. Fancy meeting this way, eh?
Funny looking shellfish from Canada. Don't they look like ducks' bills?
These crabs are weird looking too. The label says "spider crabs."
Remember the Pearl Lobster? Hehehe...this is the "after" pix. No fuss grill with tartare sauce. Oooohhhh.....so yummylicious.
We had a grouper too - steamed with ginger and light soy sauce. Succulent - out of this world!
We had a table that's just by the sea....nice sea breeze too.
General view of the restaurant. Notice the use of frog buttons on the chair covers? So creative.
Eye candies on stage...oops...traditional dancers entertained us throughout dinner.
Diners were invited to dance the joget lambak at the end of the stage show. Mama posed with the whole troupe too but she won't let me publish that pix.
Then we walked off the calories at the night market. Not too busy as we were there on a week-day night.
Despite her vow of: No more spending, Mama managed to do extensive damage to her bank account.
Angelina's note: This is my first restaurant review. Not naming it but it's right smack in Batu Ferringhi, Penang. purrr....meow!

YUM!!! Fish!! Funny thing was I was oooo craving fish today!
I had smoked salmon at lunch today and for dinner had broiled salmon...I must be lacking some nutrient.
This restaurant looks so opulent! I love the color scheme and the outdoor shopping looks amazing! I can just feel the balmy breeze!

My friend and her family + relatives were all down with food poisoning after dining here. I believe the other wedding guests also kena severe food poisoning that night. Apparently, the restaurant had to be closed for inspection after that. Am sure nothing happened to you cos they must have spruced up the joint which was previously called Eden Seafood. Take care and see you the next time you are in town.

Salam

Aunty Caren,
Opulent and expensive! The bill almost gave my Dad a heart attack. The outdoor shopping is typical in Malaysia. We call it pasar (market) malam (night). It has even caught on in Australia now. Must be the Asian influence. purrr...meow!

Aunty Meoww,
Come to my house, I'll cook for you. But lobster in Malaysia is too expensive. You come to my Sydney house lah. Cheaper lobster and prawns. purrr....meow!

Aunty Paula,
I thought the external decor looked somewhat a typical Eden but it's called some Thai name. Hey...I thought you get food poisoning only from nasi kandaq curries? purrr...meow!

Nice pictures! The interior is so colorful! Dining on a beach is so romantic! You didn't kacau your papa and mama did you?
The food looks so yummy too!! I will give it a try next time, but maybe without that lobster. So expensive! Besides, I prefer the sashimi version! :)

Is this an aquarium or a restaurant? :-)

Thanks for purring for Au. He ate three bites of chicken so I'm hoping he'll get better soon.

The place looks very nice and the food looks yummy. I would really love to try the shell fish from Canada. I wonder how does it tastes like.
