A Waterfall By Chance

We were looking for this.....
When we saw this...
And this. Remember this as a future landmark (in case someone demolish the makeshift signboard).
The building, I believe, is not a farm house but rather a tua pe'kong.
At first glance, not much of a waterfall, I thought.
Ooooh....do we really have to climb those steps?
Ladies and Gentlemen, Cats and Felines, this is what we found after all the huffing and puffing. Pawesome, eh?
Dad was experimenting with the manual features of the DSLR and captured this. Fancy a swim anyone?

This handsome chap came by to say hello to us.
Weird looking "bonsai" - I call this the constricting boa style.
Despite the hefty fine stated on the signboard, the litter bugs spoilt the place.
I thought these were my lunch....
Or these perhaps? Come here fishy fishy....come to mummy.... yummmm....
So, next time you're in Batu Feringghi, forget the pubs, or night market, or fancy hotels, go for a dip at this unknown waterfall. Refresh your soul, yeah! The locals dub this place as Cinta (love) on the Rocks. Beats me how they come up with this name. purrr....meow!

Wow.. I stayed or rather studied in Penang for 4 good years.. maybe I did not have much time to look for such an exotic Cinta (love) on the Rocks waterfall.
Can it be the feline strong sense of smell led you to this waterfall? and for your info.. I did not know that interesting "future landmark" stall..
For a feline .. you sure lead an interesting life with all this kind of adventure..

Oooohh...adventurous! No snake ah?
The signboard looked so fragile! Kena tiup angin nanti hilang terus! Did you try dipping your paws in that pond? Delicious looking big fat fish in there!

Ayoh Wang,
You buried yourself in your books and had no time for any "cinta", right? You should mingle with us more, the adventurous streak may rub off on you. har har har *evil laughs*

Aunty Nana,
What snake? Gosh! I didn't think of snake at all. But we saw a humongous lizard and it was so shy that before we could point the lens on it, it has disappeared under the rocks. Oh yeah....those fish indeed looked delicious. Tilapia, I believe, not Koi. The water is very cooling...too bad I didn't bring my burqini. Mama doesn't allow me to swim in my full glory. purrr....meow!

Ohh...pi Penang tak habaq nooo!! Singgah pekena nasik kandaq tak??

If I see a 'Private Property - Trespassers Will be Gunned Down' sticking up on a fence I know the risk of passing the fence line, not in front. Likewise, the sign you saw warned men, women, cats and all from doing any dirty, monkey business and all behind the sign. Do what you like in front. That's the rule of the game here.

What fun, Kitties! Right smack dab in Batu Feringghi, too! Who would have guessed? Thank you for the landmarks. Pity they had to cut down the tree to build the shack. I can tell you are enjoying yourself in Penang.

Cat-from-Sydney said...

CO78,
Yeah...why can't they build the shack around the tree, eh? They can always trim if it grows too big or tall. No need to cut it down. Hey....you can take your Sampah Masyarakat gang to help clean up the waterfall area, can't you? purrrr....meow!
