Tom is sick.
We took him to the vet.
Excessive shedding of fur because of fungus infection. And laceration, and slow healing (insolent) ulcer, and itchiness. And even ear mites.
So, there are tablets for the next three weeks, and bandage, and cream and liquid medication. He even had his annual injection and deworm. We're all gonna have fun watching Mama and Dad try to feed and apply those on Tom.

Oh dear, that sounds nasty. Why and where did Tom get it from? My cat Kinny is ill too. She lost her appetite, lost weight and nampak lesu. She's 13 years old. Yesterday, we saw her trying to pee/poo but nothing came out. She's got the urge but couldn't release it. Today, my father is going to take him to vet. What do you think is the problem? Kidney failure? Kidney stone? One thing for sure, she is dehydrated.

Tom has always been a little bit "manja". Lucky it's just fungus and not fleas or else the rest of us would suffer too.

Nama je sakit, tapi selera makan macam biasa je. Nak makan ubat pil bolehlah tipu, gaul dengan wet food. Tapi time nak sapu kat badan tu bukan main susah lagi. Ngada-ngada budak besar ni. purrrr....meow!

Poor Tommy! We will purr hard for him and keep our paws crossed for his speedy recovery. Maybe this is caused by the stress of travel and reestablishing himself at a new place? I know the hot weather has made my Rowdies overgroom themselves. Poor furries!

Poor Tom...I pray that you will get well soon. Stebie too has some fungal infection on his body and ear. The vet said that this may be due to stress. Err...Stebie stressed?? Yeah...due to too much sleep perhaps.

The vet said Tom's a hygiene problem. It's difficult to handle him so he didn't bathed as much as other people. So now he needs regular baths, fortnightly. purrr...meow!

Tom walked funny with bandage on and he tried to kick it off. Luckily it stayed for the required three days. purrr...meow!

Maybe we should send him to your lab to be examined. Mama was unhappy coz the regular vet took his blood and skin samples and said there's nothing that they can detect when it's obvious he was suffering. So we're now with a new vet. A little bit further but....you know my Mama.... purrr...meow!

We visited MikiCato at HousePanthers but couldn't leave any pawprint there....you know....naughty Mr Blogger.... purrr....meow!
