Yes, kampung cats love durians. I have seen this myself so many times. But they should NEVER be allowed to do more than lick a few fingers and seeds. Too much of it can kill them. I don't have any veterinary evidence of this but sufficient anecdotal evidence from friends whose cats died after "makan satu ulas durian." I think durian is too "panas" for cats! 3 friends told me the same thing!
Love durians too. Can I lick Mama's fingers until I find the durian musang ? Meowww...

Oh dear! Perhaps SPCA could come out with a cautionary message in its bulletin, considering that it's durian season now. We immediately get the blue-eyed mum-to-be to drink plain water after we fed it durian. Just a bit, not one whole "ulas". I prefer ikan patin rebus tempoyak though....hehehehe.... purrrr....meow!

hi Angelina, do you love durian too? anyway, I never saw you're playing with your mama's children, or tickled by them. I think children love cats..err sometimes they did harmful things to cats though, hihi

We've had our share of harmful children. Mama has made sure we won't get such exposures anymore. So we're pretty selective on who we invite to our home. purrr...meow!
Lovely kitty in the picture. Not sure what durian is, but I gather it is NOT safe for the wee ones to eat much. Hope the unruly children don't come around anymore. Not nice for the kitties for sure.

Oooh...you poor thing. I hope the rowdies are treating you well. I'll give them a word or two, OK? Durian is fruit with thorny shell/casing. It's an effort to break the shell that will reveal custard-like flesh inside. Yummy to some, disgusting to others. purrr....meow!
