Cat vs Catfish

We just got home from dinner outside when this stray came near. We happen to have packed food in the car...and some grilled catfish. We gave one to her. She seemed hungry and gobbled up the fish in a jiffy. Mama's considering keeping some kibble stock in the car....for future hungry strays we meet. purrrr *giggles*

Poor Kitty! She must have been really hungry to be bold enough to approach people! Yes, keeping cat kibbles in the car is a good idea. Kibbles last longer than fried fish. I would also recommend keeping a cat carrier. We can try to catch stray cats for vaccination, neutering and rehoming. It will take 1-2 weeks of feeding, playing, bathing and "manja"-ing before the semi-feral kitties are ready to go to new homes.

That is too sweet of you.
And a great idea for strays. Oddly I rarely come across strays anymore (?)

Cheers to you and your heart of gold :)

CO78,
Mama's not too keen on capturing strays and bringing them home as we don't have neither space nor cage at home. Also, there was a bad case of flea attack on us the last time she did that. So in the meantime it will just be kibbles in the car. purrrr *giggles*

Alaa... bagi grilled catfish no longer cat vs catfish la. Tak aci. Kalau bagi catfish yang masih melompat-lompat tu barulah cat vs catfish.

Brad dear,
We only realise the big number of strays in our area when Angelina went missing. Mama's cracking her head trying to figure out a solution. purrrr *giggles*

You have a good heart! I hope the stray finds a home soon.

Cat people are always talking about kibble and I have no idea what it is? Austin says he wants some!!! >^..^<

Cat-from-Sydney said...

Oh no...Austin, you poor thing. Kibble is dry food or biscuits. It can be Friskies or whiskas or iams or blackwood or science diet, to name a few. Not to be mistaken for treats. purrrr *giggles*

CATachresis said...

Ohhhh! We just call it dry food mol! Thanks for clearing that up. Austin has plenty of kibble ....... and treats! >^..^<
