Fervor

Nicole's 2-cent: Malaysians are encouraged to fly the national flag this month and next as 31 August is Independence Day while 16 September is Malaysia Day. However, this taxi driver is taking it too far. I hope all those flags don't hamper his vision. Would you flag him down? purrrr *giggles*

I only hope that after you flag him down, he won't take you for a ride

Nationalistic by flagging many flags away (flags pulak dapat free). He also thinks it blends beautifully with his red and white cab.

Let's flag him down. And out.

The taxi driver must love his country very much! I hope these flags don't hamper his vision, too. If they do, I hesitate to get on that taxi!

Tante Sandy,
Our house is already very colourful as it is. The flags should remain on official flag posts. purrr *giggles*

Dear Kitties and Mama,
I have my flag up already but my patriotism lasts all year round. I would much rather Malaysians demonstrate patriotism by keeping public areas clean, not vandalising public property, not destroying the environment, by being courteous and helpful and honest, by not practicing or encouraging bribery and corruption and by practicing religious and cultural acceptance, not merely tolerance. Having more flags doesn't mean you love your country more, if you are not willing to invest time and effort into making your country and society a better one.
