Gosh, this is really interesting. I've stroked and I've carried my cats before. It would purr when stroked but remained lifeless without a sound when lifted by the nape of the neck. Cat massage? Your must have full trust and know your cat to allow them. And they must have trimmed nails. You have friends like that?
There are some very good techniques in your guide...some of which us critter cats do automatically , however , we don't take direction well. LP says we would be poor students. Seriously. How rude!
