Aduhai...kenapa mata kite asyik tertumpu kat bawal masak a la sweet sour tu? Kena turun ke laut nampak gayanye ni..hehe

Aunty Lili,
Itu sebenarnya yang plus plus! Tapi bukan sweet sour, itu masak tiga rasa. But you have to agree that the kerpok presentation is creative. Selalunya kerpok dengan cicah tu asing kan? Dah try buat rumah pun. purrrr *giggles*

OMG ..that looks yummy. What's masak tiga rasa ?
Btw, plus plus has a rather bad connotation here, for instance "pijat plus plus" refers to massage with extra services -.- , but from a computer geek point of view, plus plus is great, it's like C++ programming language.

Tante Sandy,
Let's stick with the computer geek point of view since we're computer savvy felines anyway. Oh, pijat is what we call bed bugs here. So, pijat plus plus is definitely not good. Tiga rasa is a type of cooking that accentuates three tastes - sweet, sour and spicy. Akin to sweet and sour but with a good measure of cabe rawit thrown in. Works well with tasty fish like pomfret (in pix), mackerel or sea bass. No need to dip fish in batter before frying as you would in sweet sour style. purrrr *giggles*

That's my mum's favourite! We would buy frozen keropok lekor Losong by the kilogrammes each time my family balik kampung to the East Coast. There was a good stall on the way to Kuala Ibai too, quality stuff.

CO78,
We practically grew up with it as Dad is from Trengganu. It's the presentation that caught our attention. Julienned carrots, lettuce and sauce on top. Yummmmm...purrrrr *giggles*

Kita tak suka KLekor yang tak garing. Bila pergi Ganu dulu, I got to eat lesut punya KL wpun lepas digoreng. Mana perginya KL yang crispy diluar dan lembut didalam? Not from Ganu ke?

CAT, kindly ask your mama for me. TQ dear, lap u!

cacamarba said...

i think da presentation is da secret la..i still prefer keropok keping..nipis n crunchy..hehe..nway,feel free to visit my blog.. :)

Cat-from-Sydney said...

Aunty CS,

Cat-from-Sydney said...

Cacamarba,
Welcome to my crazy world! Kalau kerpok keping buat presentation macam tu, lemaulah jadinya. purrrr *giggles*
