Manic Monday????

What manic Monday? It's been so quite on the domestic front. You know....since Pingu and Ginger left....

Because this naughty boy is now alone and spends most of his days lying on the pillow....
Oh....he's conserving his energy! Hey Brad! Nobody hibernates in summer!
Angelina's note: Hmm....could it be that he's plotting revenge? purrr....meow!

Magnum Moment

I'm still upset about Socceroos' trashing by Germany. Thank goodness I have a Dad who understands me. He comforts me and soothes my hurt by pandering to my cravings for....Magnum.... not just any ordinary flavour but the latest craze - Magnum Gold.

I love you. I love you. I love you, Dad.

Here we are - father and son having a Magnum moment. Eat your heart out, Angelina.

Talking about Angelina, she's very serious about this hibernation business.

Here she is all comfy and tucked in her favourite bed. Notice the "tahi mata"? Eeuuwww....

I don't bother waking her up, even at meal times. More for me. har har har *evil laughs*

Winter Slumber

No, this is not the title of a new Korean soap opera or song.

This is about what cats do in winter. Specifically a particular male called Brad. You know, how some animal species hibernate during winter? Like a bear, for example, it will sleep during winter after eating to its heart's content all of spring, summer and autumn.

That's what Brad is trying to do. He's pretending that he's a bear! He's more like a real bad drug case. Forever drowsy, whoozy, groggy and snoozing, especially when Mama switches the heater on. I hardly get heater time, I must complain. However, since we've signed a ceasefire for winter, I'm not going to make too much of it. Let him be. Let him sleep.

He's nicer when he's asleep anyway....

First he just stared at the heater.

Then he starts hogging the heater!

Finally, the greedy Brad claims, "This heater is mine, all mine!!!"
