Pictorial Restaurant Review

A sight that makes a cat's heart goes "Yippee!!!!!" - this is the entrance of the restaurant where rows of fresh seafood await.
Drool...drool....these are called groupers - pink, spotted, stripy, brown....all yummy fish...
Such handsome lobsters. Very very delicious too.....
Yes....my fellow countrymen, I'll eat you anytime. Fancy meeting this way, eh?
Funny looking shellfish from Canada. Don't they look like ducks' bills?
These crabs are weird looking too. The label says "spider crabs."
Remember the Pearl Lobster? Hehehe...this is the "after" pix. No fuss grill with tartare sauce. Oooohhhh.....so yummylicious.
We had a grouper too - steamed with ginger and light soy sauce. Succulent - out of this world!
We had a table that's just by the sea....nice sea breeze too.
General view of the restaurant. Notice the use of frog buttons on the chair covers? So creative.
Eye candies on stage...oops...traditional dancers entertained us throughout dinner.
Diners were invited to dance the joget lambak at the end of the stage show. Mama posed with the whole troupe too but she won't let me publish that pix.
Then we walked off the calories at the night market. Not too busy as we were there on a week-day night.
Despite her vow of: No more spending, Mama managed to do extensive damage to her bank account.
Angelina's note: This is my first restaurant review. Not naming it but it's right smack in Batu Ferringhi, Penang. purrr....meow!

Mama's Travels 2

My Mama went to Bali! I resented her going because this was one trip that she couldn't take me. Brad and I had to stay with Dr T.
Bali is a famous holiday island in Indonesia. Mama went with Dad in search of the famous Balinese cats. Lucky she didn't bring any home...thank God for Australia's strict quarantine laws...lest I'll have too many unwanted feline companions.
My Mama opines that Bali is an over rated holiday spot. It's too touristy, too may Aussies, she said. No stone has been been left unturned it seems. It's a place she'll not visit ever ever again.

Feline figurines - a must buy - and must bargain!

Balinese dancer - a must see - the show was too long though and you may lose interest after the 3rd scene.

Seafood lovers at Jimbaran waiting for the sunset!

Sunset at Jimbaran unfortunately didn't live up to its reputation.

The corn seller - now, his bbq corn was yummy...
