48 hours prior
Aunty If: Angelina, Brad, wake up! They are here.
Angelina: Who's here?
Brad: Yeah, what's happening?
Aunty If: They're the people from Jetpets. Your Mama has booked them to transport you two over.
Brad: So, we're going to fly? Today?
Aunty If: No, not today. The authorities will have to examine you and hold you for 48 hours before you fly.
Angelina: What authorities? What are they going to do to us?
Brad: Ohhh...Aunty If. I'm scared.
Aunty If: It's called AQIS - Australian Quarantine Inspection Service. They'll examine you, issue a "fit for export" certificate and off you go.
Angelina: Eeuuwww! I feel like some sort of commodity.
Brad: Are we going to be labeled as "live export"?
Aunty If: You're quite right, Brad. Now, come on. Get ready, have some breakfast and then you can say goodbye to Pingu and Ginger.
Angelina: I'm only agreeing to this because at the end of the day I get to meet Mama.
Brad: Me too.
24 hours prior:
Angelina: What do you think Brad? Look at all those other animals.
Brad: Are those pets like us too?
Angelina: Well, those are dogs and cats like us. I don't think the cows and sheep are here.
Brad: So many pets leaving Australia? Are they going to Malaysia too?
Angelina: I don't know. You can ask them.
Brad: Hmmm....maybe later. What's going to happen to us next?
Angelina: Next would be us boarding the flight to Kuala Lumpur and say bye bye to Sydney.
Brad: Really? What flight?
Angelina: I overheard the transport people saying Malaysia Airlines. We'll board in the afternoon and arrive in the evening. Mama and Dad will be waiting for us over there.
Brad: I can't wait to see them again.
